How to solve Facebook mobile number verification if I changed my mobile number?

Asked by MichelleK (5points) December 1st, 2011

Well…I have changed my mobile number recently but I forgot to change it in my Facebook. And now, the Facebook ask me for mobile number verification. I can’t receive text from my old number. I have try to contact Facebook but I just found that they do not have customer service! What should I do to contact Facebook for help? I just can’t lose my account.

P.S. I am not a American. So, the one way for me to contact FB is to email them…

Welcome to Fluther.

Just go to your FB profile page and add a new cell (and follow the verification prompts to enable that) and delete the old one. Facebook makes it pretty easy, because it’s a frequent occurrence.

But I can’t log in my Facebook. How can I go to my profile page?

You can log in to FB via some other computer. I take it that your mobile has so far been your only way to log in. But you aren’t restricted to that; you could use a friend’s computer or go to a public library with computers and Internet access and log in there.
