What should I call Flaca's act?

Asked by sliceswiththings (11723points) February 20th, 2012

I recently had an idea to improve my busking act. I have a little marionette named Flaca who plays the cymbals and wears a little dress that matches mine. Her current job is just to sit in the box while I play, and I’ll hand her over to children to make her dance.

What I thought to do is give Flaca her own little setup, next to mine. It would have a brightly painted box, a sign, and her own tips, as well as instructions that she is to be picked up and played with. In theory, she will be more involved in the act, and we’ll make more tips since kids will want to tip both of us!

I am trying to think of the best name for her act. The requirement is that it be three words that all start with “F” sounds, and that it describes something she does. (Because that applies to my act too, but with S’s.)

Things she can do:
-Dance
-Clap/play the cymbals
-Flamenco*

*This is my latest idea. I know quite a bit about Flamenco music, so I’d be capable of clapping rhythms (not involving my accordion) while she does a Flamenco ish dance. If I get a good castanet, I can possible do both (that and Flaca) at once. There are a lot of Spanish tourists in the UK, so it would be well received, I think.

The only thing about doing Flamenco is that kids wouldn’t be quite as pumped about it, possibly. I could probably make her little tap shoes.

One last thing: it’d be nice if the middle word could be a clipped gerund, to match mine. Here’s what I’ve thought of so far:

-Flaca’s Fancy Footwork
-Flaca’s Fenomenal Flamenco

And that’s all.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Being in England I would say try to match something more, well, English as opposed to Spanish. I mean for me, if I were Spanish, why would I want to see some Englishmen doing something Spanish anyways? Not that it is wrong, just that, I’m traveling to explore others cultures. I like the tap shoes idea, and the overall idea of dance. I’m also partial to having the set up of the Flaca on her own.

Thanks! But the second word has to be an adjective!

@sliceswiththings I presented this question to my puppet/marionette loving son. He said he prefered the name: Flaca’s Fenomenal Flamenco.

He thought that walking by he’d like to know that the marionette does a dance. ;)
