What if we've never had emotions?

Asked by PoiPoi (274points) May 24th, 2008

If having emotions never existed in the human mind, and reason fully taken control, would it change our perspectives on life dramatically? Would it make living life easier or even worse?

Well considering that we had no emotions then we would not know what emotions are thus making us unknown to anger, and we would always be responsible, and we would do what we would need to do without having any frugal distractions like war and greed.

lots of people would be dead, if there was no one to help them because no one would care.

I recommend the movie ‘The Invasion’ for you. It’s based on what you are asking.

“The Invasion” is a remake of an older movie called “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. Which came out in 1956 and then remade in 1978. The premise was based on the novel by Jack Finney.

That’s great shock…your point?

… hmm. Don’t think I had one. Just figured if anyone was interested in “The Invasion” they might enjoy knowing a little history on it.
