It’s not great or anything. It’s not as good as any of the others. There is a lot of things make make it lame. But I think you should still see it any. Seriously check it out.

I liked it for what it is – simple entertainment.

It was exciting but, as others have said, not as good as the others. If you liked the others or just action movies in general you’ll probably have a good time. Although, the script was kinda cheesy…

It was fun. Not as good as “Raiders” or “Last Crusade” but better than “Temple of Doom.”

Hopefully they make more. This could be the Phantom Menace of the Indy movies.

the story line was fairly interesting but all too generic. The route they went with the ending was just not creative. It was like every bad sci-fi movie ending. But when you throw in some good action sequences and hi speed chases being performed by an old timer and the star of transformers, it makes up for the fact that you’re still trying to figure out if the cheesey dialogue was done on purpose to capture 50’s-like speech or if the writing was really that bad

I think that if the words “Indiana Jones” had not been in the title, it would have made significantly less money.

The cinematography was spectacular, and i am really glad they decided to shoot in celluloid rather than digital.

But the whole theme was kind of a let down, seemed out of place for Indy.

Funny, my biggest gripe by far is Janusz Kaminski’s cinematography. He bathes every shot in this stupid glowing haze (probably added in post) that really threw me out of the story. Put it this way: he’s no Doug Slocombe.

Well i was pleasantly surprised. I went in thinking it was going to be bad but couldn’t help but enjoy it. Yeah I groaned in disbelief and got a bit weirded out but all in all I liked it. I was thinking “what the hell, as if this is Indiana Jones” but then I remembered that the other movies had supernatural elements as well so it wasn’t really that far fetched for Indy. Definitely worth seeing though.
