A republican once wrote an editorial that was carried in USA Today in 2009. The editorial dealt with the health insurance crisis. The republican author stated the federal government should follow what his own state did, because it saves money and doesn’t cost the federal government one red cent. Editorial as follows: “First, we established incentives for those who were uninsured to buy insurance. Using tax penalties [individual mandate], as we did, or tax credits, as others have proposed, encourages ‘free riders’ to take responsibility for themselves rather than pas their medical costs on to others. This doesn’t cost the government a single dollar. Second, we helped pay for our new program by ending an old one—something government should do more often. The federal government sends an estimated $2 billion to hospitals that are for the poor: Use those funds instead to help the poor buy private insurance, as we did.” ~ Mitt Romney. Fifth paragraph down

But Mitt Romney, in June of 2012, said, “What the court did not do on its last day in session, I will do on my first day if elected president of the United States,” Romney said Thursday. ”And that is I will act to repeal ObamaCare.

How can anyone even think to trust this guy?? He sneers at the rulings of the highest court in America? He double talks? He flouts the legal taxation system? How could any one vote for him?

Maybe they like an untrustworthy, sneering, double talking tax system flaunter? There are people who hate the government enough that they aspire to be like Romney. They want to be rich enough to not give a shit.

There are a lot of people who hate the idea of government just on principle. THey want to cut government off and they don’t care who is hurt as a result. Some of them think that if people don’t get government help, then they’ll help themselves. This is what they believe. This is why they like Romney. I’m not saying it makes sense. As you know, people will believe just about anything. It’s a story they like. So that’s how they think they will vote.

I know a particular military family who fully support Romney and bad mouth Obama. When I say family I mean from the father down to one daughter.

I seriously can’t wait to see how he handles the health care thing during the debates. How will he justify talking out of both sides of his mouth?
