How can I get rid of my breakout?

Asked by tianalovesyou (711points) September 3rd, 2012

I just used a mask from Lush about 20 minutes ago. When I go to wash off my face I find my skin broken out! This is the first time this has happened. I wash my face regularly, and this must have been a reaction to the product. How can I calm my breakout? What can I do to get rid of it?

If its a reaction you might try Benadryl.

Wash with plain water and wait for a few hours.

If the first two ideas already stated, don’t help, than you can try to use ice water to bring any swelling down and then put some witch hazel on some paper towels and lay it across the red areas. That will help with the redness and then put some cetaphyl lotion. Its great for all types of sensitive skin. The cetaphyl cleanser is also great for washing your face. Just rub and wipe off. No water needed and it will leave your face baby smooth.
