Balanced nutrients with a good proportion of protein so you won’t have a sugar crash after a couple hours.

@hearkat GA Way too many breakfasts are all sugar, especially the kids cereals or high in fat. Complex carbs and proteins are better. Although I can’t talk too much, I once had beer for breakfast. It was the only thing in the cabin.

Steak and eggs.

A protein and a starch preferably. Personally yogurt does it for me, I can’t eat much early.

A balance of protein and carbohydrates with a piece of fruit.

Steel-cut oatmeal, 2. T ground flaxseed, dash cinnamon, some chopped walnuts or almonds, 2. t dark maple syrup is one very good option.

I have a cup of freshly brewed tea with a few crumbs of sugar for a beverage.

I’m a cereal killer with strong black coffee & i’m not on about the guy off The Green Mile.

A whole grain pancake topped with mixed nuts and bananas and a cup of vegetable/fruit Fusion.

I second @YARNLADY . But I am so bad with breakfast, I usually just force a banana down and some coffee.

My perfect breakfast is poached egg on wholegrain toast, a couple of rashers of grilled bacon – very very crisp, you’d probably call it “burnt” – mushrooms (pan fried in a little margarine or butter) and a glass of fresh grapefruit juice.
