Printer help? My HP Deskjet 350 refuses to print?

Asked by emeraldisles (1949points) January 3rd, 2013

Whenever I try to print a document, a notice comes up that say to send to One Note. I go to One Note and follow the directions, and it still refuses to print. I went to Control panel and clicked devices and printers, and it does not recognize my printer. I am very frustrated because this keeps happening, and I have had a lot of printer trouble in the past. What else can be done? I’ve also unplugged it and plugged it back in.

Make sure you have the latest drivers on your computer.

Go through “connect a printer”, maybe your connection got corrupted.

One Note is a Microsoft application that sounds like it is set as the default printer because you have no physical printer defined.
If you do not have the original CD from the product simply go to the HP site and download the drivers and software.
Try this HP link or just google hp deskjet 350 driver

Can you print a test page from the printer? My printer will print a test page from the keyboard on the front.

I had the printer figured out. It turns out my printer was accidentally disinstalled. It was reinstalled and prints great.
