Yes, the fluids in the vagina are acidic and will kill the sperm so the sperm must have a hard outer casing to preserve it. Also from what I’ve seen, sperm lives for a long time after being ejaculated if kept properly. If you mean that is was put on something and the girl was just putting it there as a fetish then I would say that it should still be alive with only a diminished chance of pregnancy .

Sperm can live up to 4 hours after being ejaculated. Although it must be kept in the right conditions i.e. within body temperature, and similar surrounding to that of the testicles, i.e. the cervix and womb.
You can get pregnant through any type of sex or masturbation technically – as long as the semen ends up near the woman’s vagina and “ahem” ‘slips in’ somehow.
