Inserted zipper in dress and need advice how to stop bunching at waist?

more detail is making dress from crepe like fabric with lace overlay and satin lining….bodice joined to skirt then zipper sewn in. when dress tried on it bunched at the waist where bodice and skirt were joined and zipper area is bunching. hope thats the detail youre looking for.
