Do they bite you? That would be a good place to start.
This site suggests they could be grain or mold mites.
This site suggests they might be psocids or barklice which are not actually lice but they breed in damp places. So if your place is damp, try to get it warm and dry.
Once I had a chicken who had bird mites, they looked like that. I would guess they are some sort of mites and I would be on the phone to my landlord asking for the exterminator please!!!
You might want to think of contacting your property manager. To me this is unacceptable. They need to get a exterminator in ASAP.
It’s really hard to see in the picture, so I’m just going to throw something out there.
Squish one. If it smells like moldy raspberries, they’re bed bugs.
^^Bed bugs are bigger than that. Moldy raspberries? Interesting.
Bed bugs breed quickly, and have about a million tiny babies every ten days. Even the itty bitty ones crawl fast, and smell like old raspberries when you squish them.
Sadly, this is personal experience talking.
I would need to examine it with a 10 power hand lens to get a Family or Genus I.D. But I suspect that it is a tick of some sort do to it’s superficial appearance and characteristic movement.
possilbly a tick, gnat, spider mite, fruit fly (baby) etc
@Seek_Kolinahr I don’t think they are bedbugs. Those guys start to feed as soon as they get on something with blood. This bug didn’t start feeding immediately. I know this because if it did, it would be full of blood instead of clear.
