How can I muffle the sound of my mouse?

Asked by 8magnum8 (121points) June 3rd, 2013

I have a Logitech mouse and whenever I click it is really loud, and annoying, is there anything I can do to make it more quiet?

A few years ago I bought a cheap Logitech mouse and had the same problem. I returned it and got a more expensive mouse. Problem solved.

I have a cheap Logitech M305 (14.99) and it is quiet. I don’t see any buttons or anything to increase or decrease the noise.

I wonder if covering it with a piece of felt or something would dampen the noise enough for you. You’d still be able to work the buttons, but might need to cut out an opening for the wheel-thingy on the top.

I have a cordless Logitech mouse/keyboard combo. It doesn’t seem overly loud to me.
