My apartment is a basement, so there is only one door. The front, I guess you’d call it. However, to get down the steps to my “front” door, you have to go in the backdoor of the main house…how about those apples.

If they’re walking to our house, probably the front door, but if they park at our house, then the side door because it’s by the garage and driveway. But I’d rather people went through the front door; that pergola thing in the front is not for people not to walk through :)

We use the door off the kitchen which is accessed through the garage. If the garage door is open, we use that, or if not, the side garage door. The front door is barred by a locked gate. To get to either of the two back doors, you must go through two latched gates and the dog’s yard.

Front door only. My back door opens onto my deck where my grill is. If I’m not grilling, it doesn’t get used.

The last home I owned they came through the back door usually. All the other houses I owned only had a front door and a door through the garage, and I don’t leave the garage up, so they always came through the front. I’m in an apartment now, there is only the front door and inside garage door here too. No one visits me here anyway.

We generally come and go through the front door, and that’s where all visitors present themselves. We have a nice wooden porch in back, right off the kitchen. We use that for barbecues and it’s where we exit to, ahem… take out the trash.

We don’t have a back door in our little farmhouse. All of the bedrooms are located in the back of the house. We have two doors in the front of the house. The main entrance and the door to the mudroom. Guests come through the main entrance to the house and our family enters through the mudroom.

We’re in a townhouse and the parking lot is out back, so that’s our primary entrance, but guests and delivery/repair persons park on the street out front, so they use the front door.

My back door opens onto an enclosed yard; you can’t get to it without first coming through the front door and walking through the house. So everyone uses the front door.
