Which way do you prefer to receive something [details inside]?

There are three main ways to get anything; you can get it cheap, you can get it well-crafted, you can get it quick. You can receive something any two ways but you can’t get all three, IE you want a wedding gown made, you can have it well crafted and quick, but it won’t be cheap. You can have a wedding gown well-crafted and cheap, but it usually won’t be quick. You can get the wedding gown cheap and quick but you will give up a lot in quality. How would you want something, a deck built, house painted, bodywork on the car done, pet groomed, etc? Which two of the three criteria best suit how you would want it? Care more for cost than speed? Care more for craftsmanship, and speed over cost?

It depends on what my priority is. If it is important to get something quickly then I will sacrifice something else.

Usually I go for cheap and well made. I’m not in a hurry. I plan ahead.

A wedding gown can be gotten for a thousand dollars, be elegant and wellcrafted… Minus the alterations… but as an unmarried person I admire beautiful gowns but imagine if I ever got married I would want to elope or do something small.

As to the deck if I were a homeowner I would want quality. Craftsmanship. Nice material I would want it done right. That shouldn’t necessarily take time. But if it did it would be worth it. It is an investment.

As to clothes in general I buy a few trendy clothes relatively cheap clothes but I prefer to bargain hunt and get cheap quality finds. Time and patience are the sacrifice there. Though every now and I will splurge and sacrificing a good deal..

The list goes on. The trend being time is usually what I give up. I plan big purchases even if I can’t get a discutn price.

For me it depends on what it is. To me, some things are worth waiting for (body work on the car). It seems your q is in reference to services.

Well-crafted is my top priority; deciding between time and money is entirely situational, but I am fortunately able to pay for conveniences these days.
