How much in dollars would it cost to feed everyone for a day?

Asked by talljasperman (21916points) July 30th, 2013

I was wondering if Bill Gates wanted to feed the planet he would not be able to pay the bill more than a good breakfast for everyone, if he had used all his billions. What to you think? If the world Is to large then what about your household or city, state/province.

Who knows. And who cares, because….

The question eventually becomes how about the next day and the day after that. Until, finally, nobody can buy food, and everybody starves.

What good is that. What rational person would volunteer for that fate?

30 dollars a person would get everyone three 10 dollar meals. 30 X 7 billion = 210 billion.
