All the eyeliners I've ever bought go into the crease. What brand stays put ?

Asked by Aster (20023points) September 2nd, 2013

I know it’s not crucial but any ladies out there have eyeliner that stays put ? Thanks in advance and happy Labor Day.

I usually just use dark eyeshadow and a skinny applicator. You might have to buy the little brushy thing separately, because the ones that come with the eyeshadow are too chunky to use this way. Regular old maybelline works fine for me, but there are probably nicer eyeshadows that stay put better.

The eyeliner has a super-skinny brush that’s precise and easy to use, so you can control exactly how much you use and where. It also stays put all day and won’t smudge.

I’d also recommend asking on the makeup board at makeupalley.com

@Aster I’m so pleased! I’ve been using this product for several years, and I hope you’ll like it as much as I do.

Urban Decay 24/7 liners are amazing. They won’t budge.

I use Lineur Intense liquid liner now, because it’s cheaper, but it stays put all day as well.

I’m wondering how your eyeliner gets into the crease. Do you mean it builds up in the inner corner of the eye? If it’s actually in the lid crease, I’m wondering how you are applying it. My liner is nowhere near the crease.

I really like the ones from MAC….also if you are looking to the cheaper ones, Maybeline-the small red ones seem to stay and also glide on nicely!

I find that gel eyeliners stay on longer than the pencil ones. You can get a gel eyeliner from Maybeline.
