What was your biggest pain when finding/buying a boat?

Asked by jacksonaxle (7points) July 26th, 2014

I am buying a boat shortly and have heard many horror stories about the whole process from finding the right boat to buying the right boat.

I was wondering if anyone could share their insight into what is the most difficult part of this process and any suggestions they may have.

They say that the two best days of a boat owners life are the day you buy it and the day you sell it!

If you are spending more than a couple of thousand dollars, get a marine survey done by a pro.

Buying a boat is easy, finding enough time to consistently go use it to justify the purchase price, gas and maintenance costs is the harder part.
