I don’t go to work but gosh, ALL day I’ve been singing that song “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas”. It’s driving me darn nuts!

@ LornaLove Well at lease your in the Holiday Spirit! Me, not soo much.

@Broken_EarthAngel I’m really not a Christmas person, so this year, I am trying! I am putting up the decorations and getting into the spirit of things.. (Clearly as I keep on singing this ridiculous song!).

Creedence Clearwater Revival – Lookin’ Out my Back Door

It’s my default song for life. Sometimes it takes someone else pointing it out before I realize I’m even humming or singing it.

That song from Frozen “Let it go”. I took my 6 year old granddaughter to see that movie last year and all I have to do it think about it and that song takes up space in my head and won’t go away!!

I worked in the field, usually with a coworker, and we would sing all day.
Often, they were bastardizations of real songs, and we changed lyrics to make fun of bosses or others. I was blessed with a coworker with a good voice, and a tolerance for mine.

Oh lord, I’m notorious for singing at work. One of my favorites is The Sound of Music. Lately I’ve been caught singing It’s All About That Bass.

Last week, after hearing a gaggle of old ladies call one of my young male co-workers her hero, I belted out Wind Beneath My Wings to him (did I ever tell you you’re my heeeeeeerrrrooooooo).

“Little Girls” by Oingo Boingo. But now I sing it as “Pretty Girls.”

No, I do not sing at work because I do not sing well. I do sometimes get a song in my head and it drives me nuts, think it is called an “ear worm” and it is usually a song that I do not even like.

@Broken_EarthAngel I love the idea of karaoke, but I would be way too scared to try it. At least at work, people know I’m trying to be funny. A teacher ruined my ability to sing for real, in public, in third grade. I loved singing, but this teacher made me feel very self conscious and said I was not good enough to sing in the choir. I was made to sing acapella in front of her, while the other kids in the class could clearly hear me, but I was very shy and was unable to sing a song all the way through because I was so scared and shy, although I loved singing with all of the kids in class as a group thing. That experience kind of scarred me.
