Do you remember a Thanksgiving special when the Green Acres, Petticoat Junction and The Beverly Hillbillies TV shows merged casts for a special episode? [Link]?

A fan of all three shows, it’s the first I’ve ever heard of more than individual guest appearances on cross-over shows.
I want to see the specials!

It’s not a surprise, they were all neighbors in Hooterville, the Beverly Hillbillies were cousins who’d moved to the big city (swimming pools, movie stars…).

Yeah, I remember when Bea visited the Clampett’s and Jethro played his girl cousin in drag. Cross-overs like that. But I never knew they merged the entire casts for specials, @zenvelo.

I wonder how many there were? The link implied more than one.

Looks like someone has put the whole Beverly Hillbillies series on YouTube – get it while it lasts, I guess. The episode that features members from all three casts is here, although apparently Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor don’t speak in it. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out which other episodes have crossovers. Wikipedians are usually good about including this kind of information.

No, but I love when favorite shows crossover like that.

According to this Wikipedia list, “The Beverly Hillbillies” Season 7 Episode 10, or Series Episode #208, entitled The Thanksgiving Spirit, was first broadcast on November 27, 1968. It featured as crossover characters Uncle Joe Carson, Sam Drucker, Bobbie Jo Bradley & Billie Jo Bradley from Petticoat Junction and Oliver Douglas, Lisa Douglas & Eb Dawson from Green Acres.

@dappled_leaves As Jed himself might say, “Well I reckon I can bear up under that!”
