I’ve heard the same is true for cottage cheese. Right out of the dairy’s vat.

I don’t know but I made that discovery with pot stickers this evening. Truthfully pot stickers have never been something that I really liked. But my wife was out of the kitchen when I walked by the pan of steaming pot stickers (just about done cooking). I snatched one right out of the pan. It was the most delectable thing that I can remember eating. Later while eating dinner it was just ho hum flavor.

Same reason a tollhouse cookie is better right out of the oven.
