Anyone on Pottermore?

Asked by Magical_Muggle (2165points) May 29th, 2015

Yes, I love Harry Potter, the whole magical world associated with it is my life. But what I am asking is if YOU have Pottermore? I would really like to know what you think of it too, especially with it’s update

I lost my interest in magic-related things and changed to more realistic things years ago.

@Mimishu1995 as I said to my grandmother, don’t kill my dreams!

@IheartMypuppy I was just saying what I like, because you asked if I had Pottermore. It’s my opinion, I never said you should give up Harry Potter or anything like that.

Was there anything wrong in what I said? :/

No, there is nothing wrong with what you said, but how could a Harry Potter thing cause someone to have dreams in their life?

Because maybe, just maybe @Dutchess_III, someday we will discover magic.

Dear @IheartMypuppy,

I’ve heard the term mentioned before but wasn’t familiar with it, so I signed up being a Harry Potter fan (at the ripe old age of 52.) A niece is also a huge HP fan. I gave her a time-turner several years ago. She found a golden snitch in her Easter basket earlier this year. She is in her late twenties, a university graduate in biology, and is due to be married at the end of the July. Some of us don’t grow out of the appreciation of the HP series.

So, back to your question. The Pottermore site didn’t wow me, but only 20 minutes were devoted to checking it out; not enough time to make a proper assessment. It is unlikely that I will return to it. I can appreciate the attraction and how it may aid in developing skills that could be useful down the road of life. The added benefit is that it is G-rated, unlike some computer games.

P.S. What house did you end up in?

@Mimishu1995, No! don’t worry, there was absolutely nothing wrong with what you said! Sorry

@Dutchess_III and @Blondesjon, Blind hopes? I know magic doesn’t exist, but I have never stopped hoping! Haha

@Pied_Pfeffer,
I am in Ravenclaw, however Pottermore used to be much better, and then they took out the ability to chat with your housemates so now it is sort of average.
However there are some very good aspects of it that just need to be explored.
P.S. What house are you in? If you have a house :)
