Do you think that for all the coldness she exhibits towards the young Julie, Sarah Morton (played by Rampling) has a sexual attraction for her?

Saw it a long time ago but I think that was implied subtly.
It has been at least 15 years since I saw that movie, but I recall a number of scenes where Rampling is sitting at the window, looking out at Julie at the pool, with lustful eyes.
The implication, to me, was that there was a definite attraction.
But I would have to see it again to be sure
It’s been years since I saw that, but I thought she was the older embodiment of the younger girl.
I saw it many years ago. I think it was jealousy and a desire for youth, not a desire of the girl.
Good movie. Nice twist in the end. Plus I recall a sexy young actress in there.
