Do birds have heart attacks?

Especially the ones who eat human leftovers?

I don’t know about heart attacks, but most human leftovers are good for birds.

I would say that anything with a heart can have a heart attack.
If it has a heart, it can have a genetic weakness of the heart.
I doubt an animal’s diet comes into play, unless it’s rats living on a diet of human waste. We hope it clogs their arteries, too.

Fainting goats mimic a heart attack.

Sure, and they can be born with heart murmurs just like people. One of my geese has a heart murmur but he is still healthy, just can’t over do it and when it is really hot he pants sometimes and we have to watch him. I always thought someone should do a cardiac study on the McDonalds parking lot sparrows and blackbirds. French fries all day long.
