Care to leave a tribute to Merle Haggard, a country music legend, who died today at age 79?

Merle at his best, IMO – young, good looking, cocky and talented, Mama Tried.

Few people have left a bigger imprint on a music genre.

He seemed to age into an elder statesman, @filmfann, and it suited him well.

I didn’t even realize your husband was into country, @Seek. A lot of legends (in a lot of fields) have taken the hit.
