Just barely missing the cut, but worth a mention is Flash Gordon (1980) noteworthy pretty much only for its Queen soundtrack, which certainly had 70s sensibilities.

You guys rock! This is exactly what I needed. Keep them comming. How about more films with classic rock but maybe not made in the 70’s? Would Detroit Rock City count? I never saw the movie.

Check out the soundtrack from The Devils Rejects. I never knew of Terry Reid before and now I love him. Also includes some great music from that decade.
