What happened to the pig that played 'babe' ?

damn i knew i should’ve saved that pork rind that looked like “babe.”

It probably wasn’t just one pig, but maybe up to 10, så who knows.

That should be pigs.. There were several, I think more than 40. As one got older they’d move on to another. As to their fate, other than losing their piglet looks, who knows. I just hope it wasn’t a tragic one.

I’d like to think that, like Harry’s (Art Carney) buddy Tonto (ginger cat), ALL the “Babes” received a PATSY Award (the equivalent of an Academy Award/Oscar). Also that Hooch, Eddie Crane, etc. were retired to pleasant pastures like Old Friends for Thoroughbreds in VA or Senior Dogs and The Last Resort in CT for cats & friends. I can’t find anything to verify this hope… yet. Babe’s voice, Christine Cavanaugh, would no doubt know. But Christine died in 2014 at age 51 of leukemia. EG Dailey may be a good second choice.
