Is the site "independent.co.uk" a legitimate news source?

The Independent is a British newspaper that was founded in 1986 and went completely digital in 2016. It’s as legitimate a news source as any other standard newspaper. Nearly every news outlet indulges in some degree of clickbait these days, however, if only because it’s virtually necessary to stay in business.

@SavoirFaire Thank you. I see them linked on FB often, and I couldn’t find them on a list of known clickbait sites. I wanted to check.

I like its royalist stance which is to completely ignore the whole system. They never put a royal on the front cover. They attempt to live up to their name by striving not to have bias in their reporting. Who’s to say if they are succeeding, but at least they are trying.
