Is Keepvid a legit site?

I’m concerned about viruses, identity theft, ransomware, spyware, etc. It looks legit, and both Avast and WOT say it’s OK, but I’m concerned because supposedly it can be used to download YouTurbe videos.

A quick search on Whois seems to indicate that the site is legit. Already registered on Whois. Created on Mars 7th, 2016. Updated on September 27th, 2016. Expiration date Mars 7th, 2018.

Why don’t you just paste the link and download online instead of downloading their software? It’s safer that way.
