Explosions rock! Also their spin-off, Hrsta is great! Also a big fan of Do Make Say Think, Brightblack Morning Light, and the “OGs” Sigur Ros! All somewhat different but all mostly instrumental. Good stuff!

Would old hippies like it?

If you enjoy Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, or any psychedelic rock, this is somewhat along those lines, although mellowed and simpler due to no lyrics…almost ambient rock (if there is such a genre). Great for meditation or my fave, sitting out in my back yard and watching the stars (with a nice glass of red).

I discovered Explosions in the Sky when their music was used on Friday Night Lights, and I love them. They are fabulous!
