Do you ever bake, or make food, for friends and neighbors?

Not regularly, but I do it sometimes. Sometimes it’s a thank you gift, so that would be some sort of dessert. My bundt pound cake or biscotti are good ones.

Sometimes it’s to help someone going through something difficult so they don’t have to worry about cooking. I’d make stuffed shells, or scalloped potatoes and maybe some sort of meat, green beans. It would depend on the person. Paella is another. Whatever I made I would make enough for me and them.

I actually want to make a chocolate pudding pie for a friend, but she’s trying to be really good about her diet. Most foods I would bring to a friend aren’t really very healthy.

I bake brownies at the drop of a hat for all kinds of social events. They are known far and wide.

We have an older neighbor that we sometimes make stuff for. If we are making a dinner that we think he would like we will make extra and run it over. Because of health issues we have to be careful about taking too many sweets over.

Only around Christmas time because I don’t cook or bake much.

One of my friends bakes almost every day. She often brings us homemade banana bread, cupcakes, or cobbler. I’m more of a soup maker myself, and vegetarian casseroles, so I occasionally bring some of those things to her, and my two elderly neighbors. Right now I’m making brownies, because our friend, whose doggy we’re watching right now, is coming over to get him later. I’m thinking that I really should start baking more, though.
