Have you ever inherited an unfinished knitting or crochet project from someone who has passed away?

If so, did you complete the project, or did you give it to someone else, or did you just throw it away?

Or have you ever inherited some other type of unfinished craft project, and if so, what did you do with it?

Related story. Before my grandmother died unexpectedly, she’d been working on a hooked rug as a baby shower present for no one in particular (just for the next child to come along). Flash forward many years: I’m at my baby shower for my first child, and I open a gift from my aunt Lisa. Inside is the rug my grandmother had been making, now complete. Lisa had held onto it for years, finished it, and gave it to me/my first child with a lovely note about how it was from her AND my grandmother. I cried buckets. <3
