Fans of Game of Thrones, did Episode 2 of Season 8 give you the feeling Jaime and Brienne would die together in battle?

Any other predictions you have kindly share.

Really enjoyed this second episode. Lots of reunions. Warm and funny closures.

Brienne and Arya had some firsts tonight. This makes me think they won’t survive the next battle. Brienne will die saving Sansa. I think Jamie will last a bit longer. He’ll see Cersie again.

^^Ah you’re right. Jamie and Cersei would meet one more time. I’ll be surprised if Theon survives.

I’m figuring Cersei will give birth to a dwarf. She will kill the child out of hate. Jamie will then kill her.

I stopped speculating a long time ago; I’m never right.

Also, Waaaaaahhhhhh…

I just watched it, so I needed to try not to look at this question title to avoid spoilers before now. (It’d probably be good to refrain from spoilers in question titles.)

No, not exactly. If the writers are annoying predictable types, I think Brienne might be set up for a fall, though. The cliche` prediction would be Jaime looks like he’s about to die, and Brienne sacrifices herself to save him, and then ridiculous amounts of mid-battle meaningful moments where the fighters ignore the combat situation ensue. I’m hoping the writers were at least slightly better than to foreshadow and feed us that.

I’m thinking most are going to be dying together in battle.

Though I tend to agree with Stache’s line of thinking. Whenever writers take the time to make the audience more emotionally invested before a big arc, those characters are most likely to die.
