If you could travel back in time and say just one word to your younger self, what would that word be?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28850points) August 17th, 2019 from iPhone

Please indicate at what younger age you would go back to and the reason why that word? Thanks.

Nothing.
Because what the fuck am I supposed to meaningfully convey with just one word, to someone who has no idea who I am?
Might as well go back to yesterday, say “Ficken?” and perform some self-cest.

My 21 year old self in June 2000. I would say “transfer”. Hopefully I would realize to transfer to the University of Alberta instead of climing uphill in Augustana University College

One word isn’t enough. For me, I’d go with the phrase “The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.” So often I thought that my life wasn’t ideal, and things could be done to make it better. What I should’ve done instead is count my blessings. I was a little brat. I’m still pretty young, though.

Take action, fix everything you consider wrong in your life. Do not wait.
