What is the best DSLR camera for general use?

I want to by a DSLR camera for general use. Can anyone suggest me the best camera in mid range price?

“Best”? It all depends on what you’re looking for. For an introductory camera and lens kit, Costco has several.

I would skip reflex cameras all together and check out the amazing mirror less cameras available today. They are smaller and with good lenses produce outstanding images

I agree with @josie there. But the OP asked about DSLR, so that’s what I answered.
My next camera is going to be a sony mirrorless bridge camera, but it’s not cheap.

Nikon D3200
Canon Rebel T3i

The Nikon D series and the Canon Rebel series both offer solid mid-range DSLRs.

+1 for Canon Rebel, I’ve used a T2 for more than a decade and it’s solid.
I hear good things about the Nikon that @raum recommends, too. Both of these brands trickle down features from the Pro cameras and the tech on the low end is amazing because of that.

I use a Canon Rebel XT. It’s over a decade old (14 years?) and still does what I want it to do.
I use Tamron lenses with it and that company has good warranties.
