I only saw ONE person there without a mask & he started out wearing one, but took it off while speaking & didn’t put it back on. Although NOT the ideal situation, MOST were wearing their masks. PLUS, it was refreshing to hear a President speak WITHOUT denying the existence of the virus!!!

Give them a break @stanleybmanly. Biden just won a hard fought election, and within hours you are saying his acceptance speech is a democratic death rally.

I’m saying he made a mistake. If he wants our support he has to prove himself for cognizant than his predecessor.

Biden is far from perfect; however, on his worst day Biden is MORE cognizant than his predecessor!!!

I give Biden credit for wearing a mask when out in public. He doesn’t wear it when he gives speeches. Trump, and Trumpers at rallies, almost all without masks.

@jca2 That’s what my governor has been doing since April. MSNBC and CNN never showed it, never talked about. I wish they had.

@JLeslie: It would have been great if Trump advocated for more people to wear masks, from early on, but I guess it didn’t go with the “tough guy” agenda and appearance for him and his followers.

@jca2 I wish he had advocated for masks more, but when he says I’m not wearing a mask because I’m distanced and tested regularly, that can easily be reported as, but everyone else should because they aren’t tested. The media purposely not reporting my governor was recommending and wearing a mask shows the media cherry picking. They were very focused on my governor for months doing everything to make him look like mini Trump. Some things it was warranted, but other things no.

What the media reports has great influence on the population. They know it.

Everyone says seeing the president wearing a mask would have great influence, well how about seeing our governors. How about the governor who is accused of being in Trump’s back pocket? What about showing Mitch McConnell wearing a mask and the Senate rules to wear a mask? Don’t you think more people would have been wearing masks sooner if Republicans knew their leaders are wearing masks.

@Inspired_2write I had only seen it the one time when I saw @RedDeerGuy1 confusion. So when the network offered a repeat of her speech, I watched it a second time thinking I knew where he was confused & that I had just not noticed the problem. I started listening close when she neared that part of the speech & I still heard nothing. I don’t know what the Canadians heard & I wasn’t interested in hearing her speech for the 3rd time, so I posted the link so @RedDeerGuy1 could listen to where he heard the glitch. The one thing I can tell you is that I didn’t hear her curse & she was talking about how great it was going to be for young girls who could see what is possible for their future.

I don’t like politics, so watching a speech twice is a lot for me. I didn’t hear what you & @RedDeerGuy1 heard so the link is the best that I have to offer.
