This man moved from San Diego to Austin, and had to move back to California because Texas is a dystopia

Smart people? Really nice.~

I guess you mean Democrats?

All of the South seemed unaware that attracting business and industry will turn their states more and more purple. Some of the states are waking up. It will also probably make northeastern and Pacific coast blue states more purple.

The migration South has been happening since the invention of central air conditioning, but large business and industries locating in the South are the real icing on the cake. Or, nail in the coffin for some I guess. As cities grow in the South not only in population size but also diversity, not only are liberals moving in, but children growing up will be more liberal too.

Credit where credit is due. Is it my bias alone that permits me the perception that the country’s intellectual weight slopes decidedly leftward?

No. It is known.
