You might want to read here. I saw another report where Hawaii pays between $50–51K with NJ & NV paying $49–50K. That sounds like a lot of money; but in my opinion, nowhere near enough to get my tootsies that far off the ground!!!

They don’t get paid. Their job is uplifting enough.

^^They have wind beneath their wings?

Thanks jellies!

I saw them in high-rises in Manhattan. As if they’re ants all the way up there looking so vulnerable. Wondered how much per hour they make.

That may be the salary, but the other question – how good is the safety harness and related equipment?

Falling from the platform would be paneful.

Barely enough to cover their insurance.

Ok, Is that how much the customer is charged or is that how much each window cleaner is paid?

See, most window cleaners work for a company. The company charges the customer whatever, and then they pay their employees. That’s why I’m asking.

Per Bing AI:

Window washer salary varies depending on the location, skill level, and years of experience of the worker. The average salary for a window washer in the United States is around $34,000 per year, with a possible range from $17,500 to $50,500. The average hourly pay for a window washer is $15.50, with a bonus potential. Some window washers may earn more than $100,000 per year if they work for Your Window Washer, a company that pays higher salaries than the industry average. Window washing is a job that only requires a high school diploma and on-the-job training, and some may find it exciting.

I’m not sure where others got their quotes.

@elbanditoroso My niece’s fiance works on those mechanisms that the window washers use. He makes good money doing it, not sure how much, I don’t really know exactly what he does. Not a lot of mechanics do that work, I know that. Not in southeast Florida anyway.

They get get frequent “raises.”~

^^ And customers get angry because some of those raises are “sky high”.
