How do you install a CDR & DVD into a Dell 4550?

While cleaning out a closet, I found an emachine with a CDR & DVD drives-the motherboard died some time ago. I have a Dell 4550, any installation tips?

you should be able to just plug it in then search for new hardware...and your off.
