How to convert rar files to mp4 or ways to watch and view on an iphone.

A .rar is a compressed file. You need to get a program to extract it. 7-Zip works great for windows, but I do not know of a program for a mac. After extraction, you’ll have a video file in any one of many formats, most likely not mp4. I convert it on a mac, get the program iSquint and then drag and drop the movie in. Choose the file type you want it convert it to then let iSquint do its job. Once this is done, you can drag and drop the file into your iPhone.

On a Mac I use The Unarchiver to extract rar files. Install The Unarchiver and then double click on the rar file with the lowest number (usually 00) and then it will do the rest for you.

To convert it to mp4 just got a little trickier since http://techspansion.com/ shut down shop. They made iSquint. I have a copy of iSquint that you can download from here. It is open source now so sharing it shouldn’t be a problem.

well, you could use Stuffit if it’s multiple RAR files, which i guess is the case

This is basic computer knowledge. I guarentee you can find hundreds of guides online. If you are still somehow inexplicably unable to this, get someone who knows how to show you personally.
