What do stars make you think of?
The thing Ive always loved most about stars is that someone thousands of years ago could look up and see the same thing I was seeing.. Just knowing that makes me so happy :)

if I’m just star gazing and looking up…I think a lot of the future and what is potentially out there that hasn’t been discovered by human kind yet.
Stars make me think about how badly I wanted to be an astronaut when I was in junior high, and the counselor who told me women don’t make good astronauts and to choose a different career path.apparently he didn’t know about Sally Ride
It makes me think of living on the streets of South Central LA.
I think I was about seven at the time and my older sister (13)
taught me the constellations to keep my mind off of things.
Long story.
seeing the stars reminds me of how I wish we could explore more of space and find something awesome during my lifetime.
They make me think of everything. The people I love, the people I miss. The big questions, the small questions. My hopes and dreams, my fears.
They make me think of family members who have died because when I was little I was taught that when someone died the stars in the sky were them watching over us from heaven. I can pick out the stars that we decided were each specific person.
They make me think of the infinite universe just up there and I feel a little less claustrophobic hoping that one day I will be out there among them.
Looking at the stars simply brings me to a place of wonder.
Space, the final frontier…
The stars make me think of how much there is for humanity still to learn about the universe. And how much I can’t wait to be a part of discovering all there is to learn. whenever I finish the decade of schooling I’m doing
the stars remind me of my past, and people that used to look at the stars with me who aren’t in my life anymoree.
