Do you mean smartphones?

Of those maybe Palm PrĂ© och HTC’s android phone. But it is likely that a new phone will appear that is even better.

The one that does nothing but makes calls. It only needs 12 buttons. No screen needed.

The next generation of the iPhone, hands down.

Well, if you’re the Leader of the Free World, apparently the best you can hope for is the Sectera Edge.

Price: $3,350
OS: Windows Mobile
Network: interchangeable Wi-Fi, GSM, or CDMA network module
Encryption: special ciphers and dedicated, separate government network
Ports: both classified and unclassified USB and serial ports
PDA: both classified and unclassified capabilities
Dustproof, waterproof, mute key, speakerphone, two LCD screens, QWERTY keyboard, and more.

@robmandu “The NSA claims that the installed version of Internet Explorer is good enough for data that’s classified at a level of Secret.”?

Does that mean the rest of us are too paranoid. Or worse more paranoid than the NSA.

That sectra edge sounds awsome

Yah, you know that Verizon commercial with the entire army of technicians following you around? With the Sectera Edge, it’s literally true. Complete with bulletproof vehicles even.

I’ve heard iPhone isn’t a very good phone though. It is an excellent computer however.

It’s an awesome phone (and I actually have one…) and an OK computer (though multi-tasking would be nice, in spite of the clever workarounds like push).
