What do you think of groupings on Twitter?

Asked by Elumas (3170points) February 18th, 2009

I follow an eclectic bunch of people on twitter.

What do you think of having a tab or two dividing Tweets into pages such as “All tweets”, “Friends”, Education” and they were all customizable to whatever you want and so you could pin your best friend Lizzie’s tweets on a page with all your friends while you have Professor Smith’s tweets on another and so on.

You might want to look at TweetDeck, I think that’s what it does.

@Elumas That’s a great idea. I downloaded TweetDeck, but I didn’t get how it could be useful and haven’t touched it since. If you figure out how to sort by groups with it, let us know!

Well, TweetDeck isn’t really groups, but it does let you add a new panel and set filtering for only that view. So, in that way you could create a panel that only has tweets from certain people or that contained certain words.
