The average human stroke volume is 70 ml (the amount of blood pumped in one heartbeat). The average human resting heart rate is 72. Thus, 70 ml x 72 beats/minute x 60 minutes/hour x 24 hours/day = 7257000 ml/day or 7257 liters/day. Converting 7257 liters to pints gives 15,336 pints per day.
