What difficulty do you play Guitar Hero/Rock Band on?

I just got Rock Band 2 this week, and i’ve never had one of these types of games before, so i do medium mostly. the drums, however, i have to do easy. i can hardly get anything above that – need to practice i guess.

Drums is hard as hell, i can do those on Easy, some songs Medium

I play RB2. I was playing expert on drums back during RB1 but gave up the sticks in favor of the guitar. I play expert on that. Still a few songs I can’t beat on expert though.

Hard/Medium on the drums, Hard/Expert on Guitar.

I’ve played an imstrument for a while, so I think the good timing helps me. I can play most songs on hard with the drums, resorting to medium on the very hard ones. With guitar I can play nearly everything on hard, and the easy to moderate ones on expert. I’m decent at all, but not great on either.

is there a good trick to the drums? or any tips anyone has?

and does anyone even bother with vocals? no one mentioned it yet…

Only thing I have for drum tips is try and keep your foot down between beats. Keeps your leg from falling asleep or searing with pain halfway through the song.

I keep planning on working the vocals but I always get stopped by the fact that I can’t sing and that I don’t want anyone in the house hearing me.

Don’t grip the sticks too tight, and don’t hit the drum heads too hard. You want the sticks to bounce off the drums, not just smash them.

Vocals are ridiculously easy. I have a horrible voice and don’t know the words to many of the songs, yet i can still get in the 90% range on expert. Al you have to do is hum at the right pitch.

No, you can’t do inter-console play, but it would be awesome if you could!

Why does life seem so meanigless sometimes?!

I play Guitar Hero on medium… Because I refuse to move to hard until I have “perfect” on every single song. Yep.

in guitar hero world tour, i’m on whatever level it is that you don’t use the blue button. i only play at my friend’s house, but whatever level i’m on, i am kicking ass.

I have GH on this wicked setting where I don’t even own it, which is the hardest difficulty of all.

I haven’t completed it yet.

I’m going to have to get a lefty axe. I hardly play beginner on the one we’ve got here.

I play on Expert. I have beaten Through the Fire and Flames, Jordan, One, Green Grass and High Tides, Raining Blood, and Cult of Personality on Expert. I have also beat everything on World Tour on Expert. I’m working on RB2 right now.

Expert baby! We play RB2 and I did the highest challenge for vocals a few weeks ago while farming RB2 achievements. Um, yes, I sing. Anyway, my boyfriend does drums on expert and everyone in the house who isn’t me does guitar on expert or sometimes hard. This is because they loved Guitar Hero and had three versions of that before RB1. I couldn’t play guitar and they allllll wanted to do drums, so I kind of got shuffled into singing.

It’s awesome now, though, because I think I actually sing better.

Vocals on Expert. Drums on Hard, getting into Expert. It’s tough but I love it!
Guitar is Medium. I never got into Guitar Hero so I’m not a super pro with it.

I play everything on expert on Rock Band 2. I’ve never played GH 4.

Expert on guitar, with very few exceptions (like some of the ones @theloveprophet mentioned)
Medium on drums (unless it’s a particularly difficult song).
Easy on vocals… haha
