I'm participating in a math contest, what do you think are some good topics to brush up on?

I don’t have much idea what will be on it. I’m a junior in college so it will be weighted appropriately. Thanks :)

Geometry for sure.

Thanks for the link, peyton. Mr. M, it’s always a good idea to brush up on some geometry that could bite your ass. Wish me luck, I’m on my way now.

Good luck!!

If I had seen this earlier, I would have posted a bunch of review topics, but since you’re already on your way, I won’t do so now… because if you see them when you get back and they match up with questions you did not know, you will be mad!

Partial Fraction Decomposition
(Anti)Differentiation
Techniques of Integration (substitution, parts, trig sub, partial fraction)
Taylor Series
Differentials
Complex Integration
Partial Differentiation/Integration

Pretty much anything from Cal I-III and above.

@GirlofScience, thanks for your luck. :) It went ok but I don’t know if I’ll finish in the top 3 that get cash. You’re exactly right by being angry with myself after seeing winblowzxp’s suggestions. A couple of his caught me up but it went well overall. Thanks.
