Transition slowly to eating all foods raw , well not all but foods as fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts.

Change your life style, do more exercise and only buy healthy food.
To be skinny you can’t just drink some miracle cure you will need to change how you live.

I am in my late 30s and I lost 40 pounds (from 252 to 212) over the course of about 5 months. It wasn’t easy but the idea was simple – eat less, exercise more. First thing, I had to decide to do it. I knew it wasn’t going to be a diet pill or some quick easy fix. It was going to take some sweat and discipline.

I took up diet cola, eating less for lunch and dinner. Same foods, just much less. Cut out the bad foods I was eating at 11pm. Then running (slowly) at night. Why at night? Because it was cooler (temp) and I couldn’t see how far I had gone or had left to go. Also, don’t weigh yourself everyday. Do it once a week so you can see the changes in bigger numbers. I remember the first week saying “If I didn’t lose 5 pounds after all I gave up, I quit!” – I lost 7.5!

Make a decision, you can do it. I’m no runway model, but people for sure noticed.

I heard that if you eat small amounts all the time it keeps your Metab up and running and it will burn off more than you put in. does anyone have a reality with that?

Lots of hard work, and the killer, EAT better. That is my biggest problem. I love to work out. But, I refuse to change my eating habits. As soon as I can figure that one out, I will probably get to where I want to be. It just takes dedication, and lots of hard work. It is by no means impossible to do though. Good luck!

I personally lost 40 pounds after taking up triathlons. No substantial change in diet.

Seriously, now: 5 small meals a day, anything you want. But work-out at least three times a week, and have sex at least once a day, or twice on the weekends.

Lots of liquids, but not with the meal.

Lots of fiber.

Lots of vitamin E, A and C.

Oh, and great genes. (Thanks mom and dad)

the best way to lose weight is to work out. running is an excelent way to lose weight but lots do not because their knees or something hurts. So actually you can get just a good of work out by riding a bike for the same amount of time you would run except you just go much farther then you would run. and im not talking about your casual ride around the block im talking about constantly pedaling, hard. lots of people might not like it but the fastest way to lose weight is to work out.

Eat fewer calories than you burn in a given day. There’s no magic to it.

Four words:

Walk more, eat less

Lost 50 pounds that way, and I’m gonna lose 30 more.
Oh, and remember that liquids also have calories in them.

It’s very simple. The idea is the same no matter what age or gender. Eat more fruits and vegetables, fewer calories and fats, drink between 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, and walk at least a mile every day, or equivalent exercise. No diet, no plans.
