Is Askville a lame duck?

Asked by FAGIN (181points) May 2nd, 2009

Seems to me that there are more “Bonus Questions“than participating members.
Do sites of this ilk only have a limited shelf life?

It truly depends on those that continue to be drawn in for the multitude of prego questions or enjoy the gaming aspect.

There are still regular boards, but even those are falling short of what they once drew even 6 months ago. Like everywhere else, you just have to choose what to participate in.
I come and go to here and there, and when the mood strikes me, go search out others, but I still get drawn back to AV just to see what the few are still doing and saying.

@Skippy From an email I got today, it sounds like the flame wars are still raging. I don’t miss it a bit. It never will be as much fun as it used to be. That’s why I’m here.
