Yep, one son, Redmond O’Neal, by her long-time partner Ryan O’Neal.

She also had two step kids- Tatum and Griffin.

Well, sort of. She and Ryan never married.

Unfortunately, right now, Redmond is in jail. I do hope he is granted enough time to be able to be present for his mother’s funeral.

@cak I read somewhere that he will be allowed to attend.

@augustlan Good. I forget why he is in, but I think this is something he will need. Maybe it will help him change his life, too. What a sad day.

Wasn’t it just last week that Ryan O’Neal said he and Farrah Fawcett were going to get married? He was on Good Morning America today saying she just wasn’t strong enough though. So sad…

She had a lot of kids who had her poster up on their bedroom wall. I was one of them.

lefteh's avatar

Yes, they agreed to marry four days ago. Ouch.

They reside in CA so they were common law man and wife. It is sad that they decided too late to profess their love.

AstroChuck's avatar

@Dog- California is not a common law state.

@AstroChuck That is news to me. It this is indeed the case then some of my friends are living under false assumptions.

AstroChuck's avatar

@Dog- Unless your friends were living together before 1895, I’m afraid they’ve been fooling themselves into thinking they were married.

Dog's avatar

@AstroChuck He he he- I am not going to tell them.
