I am interested in joining the Peace Corps, and I am wondering if anbody has any information about it (doesn't matter if you've been in, or not)

I’ve a few family members that joined, at the time it was a two year stint but they stayed on. Both became teachers overseas, met and married other teachers they met through the Corps and they have wonderful lives. One is with his wife in Indonesia (don’t know what isle) and the other went off the grid in South America.

@bumwithablackberry that is quite an interesting song. I have never heard that one, and my dad is a hippie.

A friend’s daughter recently was in the Peace Corps in Bulgaria. She has written about her experiences. If you PM me, I will try and put you in touch with her if you like.

I think you’d have to be a US citizen…not sure though.
