How can I change that circle that appears and "spins" and represents activity when I'm on Firefox?

I’m talking about the round thing that appears on a tab when you click on a link or something. I want to make it larger and more conspicuous. I’ll even download a different one if there’s one available. It’s hard for me to find/see so it’s annoying. Something audible would be good, also.

This might help. It will be hard to miss visually.

I just got on Firefox yesterday, thanks to Ben. I LOVE it. Soooo much faster & I’m not locking up. That link JP put on looks like it has a lot of options.

It is hard to avoid noticing the big blue bar.

I installed it. The problem with it is that it sometimes stops, then goes, then stops (i.e., that’s the way it works)... Then you look to the circle to see if IT froze.

@Quagmire :: The circle just goes forever until the page finishes loading or it gets a error. It isn’t really telling you anything other than “I’m still trying to load this page.” The blue bar advances as individual files load. So say a page with a big image is loading the bar won’t move until that image finishes loading.

Understood. But when it stops, you don’t know it the system froze. At least with the circle spinning, I know it did NOT freeze.
